Overview

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for activating and retrieving the token(s) required to set up KBART Automation for Sage Journals with your Discovery Service Provider (DSP). This implementation works with OCLC WorldCat and Ex Libris Alma.

For more information, please see KBART Automation FAQs (Sage Journals).

Before You Begin

Please determine if you need tokens from both our admin systems, Sage Journals and Secure Center. The token from the Sage Journals system will enable the implementation with journals except Gold Open Access journals. The token for Secure Center will enable the implementation with Sage's Learning Resources, including Sage Research Methods, CQ Researcher and CQ Press Books, Sage Business*, Sage Skills*, Sage Video*, and Sage Reference & Books*. Please see How do I implement KBART Automation? (Secure Center) to establish the connection with our Sage Learning Resources.

*These products were formerly known as Sage Knowledge.

Please note, KBART automation is not set up with Gold Open Access journals, Sage Data, Sage Campus, CQ Press products (outside of CQ Researcher and CQ Press Books), and Catalyst.
