In most cases, a provisionally accepted paper will be returned for major or minor revisions. The author should revise and respond to all editor and reviewer comments. For guidance, use the Author Response to Reviewers Template. The revisions process may be repeated until the editor can make an informed decision whether to accept the paper. Rejection may still occur, even after several rounds of revision if the comments are not adequately addressed.

To submit your revision, please follow the below instructions:
- Navigate to the submission site
- To find the submission site, visit the Sage Journals platform
- Search for the journal title
- Navigate to the homepage
- Click SUBMIT PAPER, then Submission Site
- Login to the submission site
- Click on the Author Center link
- You will find your manuscript title listed under ‘Manuscripts with Decisions’
- Under ‘Actions’, click on ‘Create a Revision’
- Your manuscript number has been appended to denote a revision
