Upon submission to a Sage Journal, your paper enters peer review, where “peers” evaluate the quality of your work. After this process is complete, you will receive a decision from the Journal Editor regarding your manuscript, which is informed by recommendations from Reviewers.

What does my decision mean?

Decision type
No further revision required – manuscript publishable in its current form
Minor Revision
Manuscript is likely to be accepted dependent on amendments
Major Revision
Manuscript has a chance of being accepted but substantial changes are required
