The frequency that our journals publish differs depending on the title. If you would like to see when you can expect to receive your issues and the months they publish in, you can do this by visiting on our website Sage Publications and follow the below instructions:
- Go to Sage Publications, enter the journal title in the search bar in the top right hand corner.
- Select the journal record from the search results.
- When in the journal homepage, you will see the Frequency listed in the information under the journal title.
- Hover over the Frequency text and the specific months in which the journal publishes will appear.
- For example, in the screenshot below, for British Journal of Music Therapy when hovering over the Frequency it shows the title publishes bi-annually, in May and November.
For open access journals, please note that a number (but not all) of our open access journals are Continuous Publication by Volume. This means that rather than assigning your manuscript to a specific issue, it will only be assigned a volume as soon as it is ready for publication. If you must assign an issue number for institutional or citation reasons, please put the issue number as “1.”
