How do I find the Impact Factor for a journal?

To find the Impact Factor for a journal, or any other Journal indexing and metrics, please follow the below instructions:

  • Visit Sage Journals
  • Search for the journal you are interested in
  • Select 'Journal' search results
  • Selecting the journal you are looking for, you will be brought to the journal’s homepage
  • The Journal's Impact Factor, can be seen in the top menu:
  • If an Impact Factor metric isn't listed, the journal may not have an Impact Factor.
  • For further information, click on the 'Journal overview and metrics' option on the Journal information menu on the right-hand side of the screen:
  • When the Journal overview and metrics page, click on the metrics tab for more detailed information on a journal's impact metrics and readership:
