How are multimedia files published online?

Modified on Thu, 11 Apr 2024 at 06:36 PM

Supplemental material refers to files related to a specific article, which authors supply for publication with their article. They are generally additional pieces that could not be included in the issue or print version, such as appendices, tables, and audio and video material. There may also be instances, such as certain podcasts and videos, where they are not directly attributable to a specific piece of research.

Please see our supplementary material guidelines for Sage’s general policy, but please also refer to the journal's manuscript submission guidelines for journal-specific policies. You can find it by visiting the journal's homepage and selecting Submit Paper.
