Searching for Sage Journals

If you have a manuscript ready for submission and are unsure which Sage journal would be most appropriate, you can browse all Sage Journals and filter your search by discipline or subject, then review the Aims & Scope and Manuscript Submission Guidelines for an individual journal. You can also use our Sage Journals advanced search feature to find journals with related content to your submission.

Please ensure you read the Manuscript Submission Guidelines before submitting to a journal. If you have any questions, contact the journal’s editorial office. To contact a journal's editorial office, please see How do I contact a journal's editorial office?

Manuscript Submission Guidelines

The Manuscript Submission Guidelines include information on which types of articles a journal will accept, contact details for the journal’s editorial office, and instructions on how to format and submit your paper.

Sage Path

Sage also provides a free-of-charge author service called Sage Path, where we recommend multiple relevant Sage journals and provide a transfer link to the most suitable journals. In making a recommendation, our discipline specialists utilize an advanced journal-matching algorithm and consider your manuscript’s content, preferences, and the quality standards and scope of participating journals. At present, this service is only available for select journals, please click this link for a list of participating journals in Sage Path.

Sage Journal Recommender

If you would like additional assistance with journal recommendations, please try the Sage Journal Recommender. This search tool will help you find a journal based on the subject and content of your manuscript. Enter keywords and the title of your manuscript to search over 1,000 Sage journals and compare those most relevant for your research. Search results are limited to those participating in Sage Path, a free article transfer service for authors that provides expert advice on the Sage journal that best fits your manuscript.
