What is the effective date of the library agreement?

Modified on Fri, 26 Jul at 11:21 AM

When completing your library product agreement with Sage, there is an effective date to enter at the top of the agreement. When your library purchases a new product, the agreement requires signatures and an effective date to be entered, this will help identify the options to insert into the effective date.

There are a number of options for what could be added as the effective date on your agreement with Sage:

  • Start of the Subscription Period: If there are subscription terms, you may add the start of the subscription period.
  • Date of signing: Alternatively, you may the effective date as the date signed by your institution.
  • Blank: You may leave this section blank and Sage will complete this section when both parties have signed with the date of Sage's signature.
