By default, the Sage Journals search feature will return results for all articles or other content relevant to your search, including content you may or may not have full-text access to. To filter your search results for subscribed content we recommend that you use the "Advanced Search" or "Applied filters" features described below.
Advanced Search
Next to any search bar on the Sage Journals, there is an Advanced Search button, click on this to open the Advanced Search options.
In the Advanced Search, to filter for only content which you have full-text access to, under the "Access type" please select "Only content I have full access to" and then click "Search".
This will filter your search results for the content your subscribe to as well as free or open access articles.
Applied Filters
After your search results have generated, using either a standard or advanced search, you will find the option to apply quick filters to your search results. On the left side of the page with your search results, other filters you may use to limit your search results. Under the "Access" section, select "Only Content I Have Full Access To".
This will filter your search results for the content your subscribe to as well as free or open access articles.
