Overview
Cloudflare provides the security infrastructure utilized by our Sage Journals platform provider, Atypon. A few years ago, we experienced a DDoS attack that necessitated more stringent security configurations within Cloudflare. As a result, certain IP traffic from proxy IPs was blocked. Atypon has maintained these heightened security settings ever since.
How to resolve the Cloudflare error?
- To mitigate DDoS attacks they are limiting proxy traffic to only those proxy IPs that have been verified and are whitelisted.
- You will need to provide us with your EZproxy IP, so that we can so that we can request Atypon to whitelist it.
