How do I find the Impact Factor for a journal?

To find the Impact Factor for a journal, or any other Journal indexing and metrics, please follow the below instructions:

  • Visit https://journals.sagepub.com
  • Search for the journal you are interested in
  • Select 'Journal' search results.
  • Selecting the journal you are looking for, you will be brought to the journal’s homepage.

  • The Journal indexing and metrics information, including the Impact Factor, can be seen on the top right-hand side. If an Impact Factor metric isn't listed, the journal may not have an Impact Factor or other indexing information.
  • You can look at other Journal indexing and metrics information by navigating to the Journal indexing and metrics option on the Journal information menu on the right-hand side of the screen.
