How will I be invited to review a paper for a Sage journal?

Reviewers are invited to review papers by journal editors, either by using an online submission and peer review system or over e-mail. 

Most Sage Journals utilize a submission system, so please be wary of e-mail invitations from a journal with an online system; reviewer invitations are only sent via the system. If you would like to confirm the invitation with the editorial office, their contact information can be found in the Manuscript Submission Guidelines.

This contact information can be found in the last section of the Manuscript Submission Guidelines. To find this contact information, please follow the below steps:

1. Visit the Sage Journals platform
2. Search for the journal title
3. Go to the Manuscript Submission Guidelines tab and scroll to the bottom of the page
4. The Journal's Editor or Publishing Editor's email address should be detailed in the last section of this page, in either of these 2 formats:
   • The contact information will be listed at the bottom of the page
   • The contact information will be found within the 'Further resources' section, click on this dropdown to open up this information
