Why has my subscription rate increased?

Modified on Wed, 17 Apr 2024 at 04:58 PM

Our journal title subscription rates are evaluated annually and come into effect on the 1st September each year.

Sage's pricing and increases are in line with our competitors and the industry standard.

Sage's price increases are based on a number of factors, including the value of the content and the number of articles included in each volume and issue. The revenue from subscriptions enables us to develop and invest in our journals for the long term focusing on these key factors:

  1. Professional production: high-quality and environmentally sustainable publishing services.
  2. Online delivery: ongoing investment in technology and our critical interfaces with library system platforms. Enhanced discoverability, including podcast and supplementary material.
  3. Subscription management: A dedicated customer service support team.
